        <p>ABSTRACTHerbal sunscreens are widely used by almost everyone on this earth to prevent skin from harmful effects of UV radiation from sun. Herbals are beneficial to the humans and they do not have any side effects and have better safety. The Present work is based on the preparation and evaluation of the herbal sunscreen lotion enriched with the custard apple seed oil which promotes healthy looking skin, provides glow, delays ageing and having healing properties. Lotion were prepared from the extract of the plant material such as, custard apple seed oil, aloe gel, etc which minimizes chemical exposure and this herbal ingredients offer antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties. Evaluation of the lotion was performed on parameters such as a Organoleptic properties, pH, homogeneity, spreadability and SPF of herbal lotion and it was found to be same as with the sunscreen that were currently available in the market.
