      <abstract>
        <p>A simple, accurate and precise UV-spectrophotometric method was developed for determination of Ezetimibe in bulk and tablet dosage form. This method based on determination of ezetimibe in ethanol: acetic acid (90:10) at 252 nm. Regression analysis of Beer’s plots showed good correlation in concentration range of 2- 20 µg/ml for Ezetimibe. The % recovery was between 100.9 to 102.32% indicating high degree of accuracy of the proposed methods. The results of the analysis were validated statistically and recovery studies were carried out as per ICH guidelines.</p>
