An Update On Novel Coronavirus: Conquering World

ABSTRACTIt was in late 2019 when the world got alarming news of the fatal virus that took birth in the seafood market of China (Wuhan) and a few months later pandemic was announced by WHO. This virus was named novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV 2) which has its clinical features similar to “pneumonia” including human to human contact. According to its genomic structure, it belongs to betacoronavirus having a crown-like presence and is a positive-sense RNA virus. Meanwhile, as per the reports, the treatment options contain the use of some antiviral drugs like Lopinavir, Ritonavir, Remdesivir, including Ayurvedic System of Medicine. In this pandemic situation, the pharmacists play a vital role in providing medical services to the patients. All over the world, many pharmaceutical firms have collaborated to develop the vaccine to combat COVID-19 as soon as possible and will soon make the world corona free. This coordination globally, has helped and fasten the development of vaccine with several vaccine candidates initiating human trials. The mental health of people has been affected to a great extent. This review explains the structure, manifestations and how Covid-19 led to the global emergency. The fatal effect of virus on three countries- Italy, USA and India are also described. Needs of Nanotechnology in Global Scenario of Cosmeceuticals

The desire to keep up a vernal image combined with the rising world market with income has driven the event of  many new industries. The cosmeceutical business relies on the event and selling of merchandise that lie between cosmetics and prescription drugs. Nanotechnology manifests the progression in the arena of research and development, by increasing the efficacy of the product through the delivery of innovative solutions. The Cosmeceuticals area unit thought to be the quickest growing phase of the non-public care business and therefore the use has up drastically over the years. Nanocosmeceuticals used for skin, hair, nail, and lip care, for conditions like wrinkles, photoaging, hyperpigmentation, dandruff, and hair damage, have come into widespread use. This review also explains the huge contribution of herbal drugs to the global market. Nowadays plant-based cosmetics or cosmeceuticals are widely used in various skin problems in addition to their cosmetic effects, enhance antibacterial, antifungal, anti-carcinogenic, and anti-inflammatory biological actions. This review, based on engineering science which employed in cosmeceuticals, that highlights the assorted novel carriers, which are used for the delivery of cosmeceuticals and their positive-negative aspects too. It also emphasizes about marketed formulations and regulations of Nanocosmeceuticals.

Comparative Study of Regulatory Requirement of Cosmetics in INDIA to USA and EU

A cosmetic product should be a complete package of all excellent properties comprising of proper safety, efficacy, potency with potential marketing efforts. These characteristics are only possible when we have a good regulatory structure, scheme and organization that can continuously regulate and update the cosmetic products. There are many regulatory bodies doing work efficiently. These bodies provide us with strict regulations which help us in guiding Manufacturing, Importing, Packaging, Labeling and other aspects of trade in cosmetic industry. In USA and EU, it is not easy to produce a product in the market, as one has to fulfill the safety requirements as per the recent regulations. In India, we have Drugs and Cosmetic Act (D &C) and Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS), following which we formulate a product for consumer needs. The cosmetic market is at its peak and can be observed to be at highest in upcoming years. The skin care market is amongst the largest growing as compare to other segments like deodorants, hair care and many more. This review helps in knowing the regulations in cosmetic industry and also the marketing scenario.
